CJ Palmer

Prior to coming to San Marcos, CJ had an impressive career with the City of Oceanside. While in Oceanside, CJ held many supervisory positions in the Parks and Recreation Department including, facility rentals, Senior Services and Transportation, Recreation programming and most recently overseeing Sports and Athletic facilities, programming, and camps. Prior to Oceanside he worked in non-profit youth programming, and before that he was a sworn Police Officer for the Oceanside Police Department.

 

CJ is married to Jandy, his wife of 25 years who is a Special Education teacher. Together they have three children and three Boston Terriers.

 

CJ is also known at times as “CJ the DJ” as he has long had a side hobby of entertaining groups at weddings, special events and other celebrations.
