Kent Aden

Director

Kent Aden is President of HomeFed Communities in Carlsbad, CA, responsible  for overseeing master-planned community developments in California, including Otay Ranch, San Elijo Hills, Fanita Ranch, and Avila Ranch, as well as the SweetBay project in Panama City, Florida.

 

Kent is a licensed architect, former President of the San Diego Building Industry Association and was recently inducted into the San Diego BIA Hall of Fame and the California Homebuilding Foundation Hall of Fame. He was the co-chair of the 2009 Miracle Maker’s Gala for Rady Children’s Hospital and received the 2008 Spirit of Life® Award from the City of Hope’s San Diego Construction Industries Alliance. Kent has an MBA degree from California State University Fullerton, and a BA degree in Architecture from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

 

He currently resides in Julian with his wife, Toni, where they run Lonestar Animal Rescue, currently housing 3 dogs, 3 horses, 5 cows, 12 chickens and 2 goats! Their son Justin recently graduated from CSU San Marcos and their daughter Ashley resides in San Antonio, Texas.
