Nick Buck

Nick Buck, his wife Lindsay, and two young children reside in San Elijo Hills and do their best to take advantage of all of the recreational opportunities available in San Marcos, from hiking, biking and exploring nature, to playing in the park.

 

Nick brings to the Board of Directors over 22 years of full-time professional experience in the field of municipal Parks and Recreation. Nick has a wealth of experience developing recreation programs, coordinating special events, community development and special projects.

 

Nick is a long-time Kiwanis club member, is on the Advisory Committee for the Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve, serves on the Board of the California Parks and Recreation Society, is a National Parks and Recreation Association Certified Parks and Recreation Professional, and is an active member of the San Diego Mountain Bike Association.

 

Nick has a passion for Parks and Recreation and brings his networking skills, event and marketing experience and creativity to further the mission and vision of the Friends of San Marcos Parks and Recreation and strengthen the recreation opportunities for all in San Marcos.
