Travis Lindsay
Director
Travis Lindsay is an active member of the San Marcos community. He was one of the city’s first reserve Park Rangers, patrolling the parks and trails to provide information for residents and visitors. When not enjoying the local scenery, he is a partner with Technology Commercialization Group, helping companies bring new medical technologies to market.
Travis and his wife have been residents of San Marcos since 2005. He currently serves as vice chairman of the city’s Parks and Recreation Commission. Travis is active with the San Marcos Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and serves as a disaster response trainer for the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR).
Volunteering for the San Diego-Imperial Boy Scout Council, Travis has helped conduct the Council’s youth leadership program. He attended San Diego State University, graduating with a B.A. in Journalism and received his M.B.A. from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He speaks German fluently.
